7 HAITIAN NATIONALS CONVICTED IN MAGISTRATE COURT on February 14, 2019
(7) Haitian nationals were arraigned in Magistrate Court #1 before Magistrate Samuel McKinney charged with “Illegal Landing” today.
Annalia Justin (F) Kalit Ipolite (F) Lowenzo Pierre (M) Benson Avisel (M) Peter Jean (M) Gerisma Rismon (M) Roger Colar (M) They pled guilty and were all convicted of ‘Illegal Landing’ and fined $150.00 each or in default of payment sentenced to (1) month imprisonment. Deportation was ordered.
All fines were paid and person were subsequently turned over to The Department of Immigration for deportation.
These persons were apprehended during a joint operation conducted by Immigration Officials along with RBPF, RBDF and Bahamas Customs Department on 8th February, 2019 in New Providence.
