Consultation and Communications Section
The Consultation and Communications Sections were established in September 2018 upon the launch of The Bahamas Immigration Department’s new Identity Document Management System (IDMS). Both sections are under the esteemed supervision of Executive Clerical Officer (EO) Mrs. Linda Munroe-Nairn and currently consist of 3 Trainee Immigration Officers and 3 Clerical Staff Members.
The Consultation and Communications Sections are tasked with the awesome responsibility of providing the majority of verbal and written correspondence between The Immigration Department and the general public as it relates to Work and Resident Permits. Some of their general duties include but are not limited to ; answering general inquiries about the status of pending applications and the generation and issuance of most of The Department’s external correspondence.
