Tribute to Mr. Eldridge Ward, Messenger Supervisor
The Department expresses condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues on the passing of Mr. Eldridge Ward, Senior Messenger. We offer appreciation to his entire family for his dedicated service to the country, and we take time to acknowledge his passing.
On Thursday, February 27, 2020, Mr. Eldridge Ward, passed away at Princess Margaret Hospital due to illness.
Mr. Ward was a remarkable man, and everyone at the Department is better for having known him. For those of us that had the privilege of calling him a friend outside of work, we were humbled by his kindness and compassion to everyone around us. He will be greatly missed and everyone here is saddened by his death. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
