Officers Participates in OPM’s Government Communication Symposium at Baha Mar
Immigration Officers participated in the Changing the Way Government Communicates Symposium on Monday, March 31, at SLS Baha Mar. In attendance were Director William Pratt, Superintendent Shemah Saunders-Darling, and Immigration Officers Braddesha Lloyd and Charity Delancy. The event, attended by media representatives from various government units, featured opening remarks by Minister of Social Services, Information and Broadcasting, the Hon. Myles LaRoda, on effective government communication in today’s world. Presenters included Office of the Prime Minister’s Director of Communications Latrae Rahming, Ian Poitier (OPM), and Burson Cohn & Wolfe representatives John McTernan and Harry Bradford, who highlighted communication techniques, writing for impact, and crisis management strategies.
