Department participated in the 3rd Annual Innovate Grand Bahama Career Fair
The Department of Immigration was honoured to participate in the 3rd Annual Innovate Grand Bahama High School Career Fair on October 31, 2024, at the Grand Lucayan. This exciting event, which was championed by Minister for Grand Bahama Hon. Ginger M. Moxey, M.P., was a unique opportunity for students to dive into career paths that shape and protect our nation.
Our team connected with eager students, highlighting the vital role of the Department of Immigration in maintaining national security, promoting lawful travel, and fostering economic growth. Through careers in immigration enforcement, border control, and public service, we demonstrated how the department stands as a first line of defence for The Bahamas, ensuring the safety and integrity of our borders.
We’re proud to have inspired future leaders, helping them envision impactful careers that contribute to our country’s prosperity and security. The Department of Immigration looks forward to nurturing these young minds and guiding them towards paths of purpose and service.
