Immigration Officers Completed First Aid, CPR and AED Training with Bahamas Red Cross Society at John F. Kennedy Drive
On October 15 and 16, officers participated in a comprehensive First Aid, CPR, and AED training course facilitated by the Bahamas Red Cross Society on John F. Kennedy Drive. Upon completion, these officers received certification as First Aid Responders, thanks to the expert guidance of Mrs. Norma Roberts.
The course aimed to equip participants with essential skills for managing emergency first aid situations. Key topics included how to assist unconscious victims, perform CPR, use of an AED, control bleeding, and address other life-threatening scenarios.
This training is part of the Department’s commitment to the personal and professional development of its Immigration Officers and Administrative staff, by engaging in a series of in-house and external training programs. Officers stationed at various outposts throughout New Providence actively participated in this vital training initiative.
