If my application is refused, will I be required to leave the country?

If an application is refused, the applicant will receive a Refusal Letter via postal mail or email. This letter will outline the reasons for the refusal and the next steps. If no reclassification has been granted by the Board, the applicant has twenty-one (21) days to conclude their affairs and depart from the country. In certain cases, the applicant may be required to leave the country immediately.

It is essential for the applicant to refer to the stipulations in the Refusal Letter, as these will detail their obligations, including any conditions for departure. Evidence of departure must be submitted within the specified timeframe to ensure compliance with the refusal decision.
