Immigration Department repatriates forty-seven (47) Haitian migrants to Port au Prince, Haiti
At 9:39 a.m. this morning, a repatriation flight departed the Lynden Pindling International Airport with direct service into Port au Prince, Haiti. Officer Stephen Laroda, Superintendent of Immigration, led the team of Immigration, Royal Bahamas Defence Force and Police Officers who officially escorted the group of forty seven (47) Haitian migrants to their destination.
During this exercise, every safety protocol and precaution was observed to ensure the protection of Officers and migrants alike.
