Immigration Regulators Join the BDOCS Family Fun Day
On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the Department of Immigration proudly participated in the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services (BDOCS) Family Fun Day, hosted in celebration of the BDOCS’s 72nd anniversary under the theme, “Building on the Legacy: Steadily Advancing Towards Corrections.”
Held at the BDOCS Sporting Complex, the event featured exciting activities, including a Co-Ed Slow Pitch Softball Game and a Domino Tournament, designed to foster camaraderie and teamwork among law enforcement agencies. Immigration Regulators, under the leadership of coaches Keno Dean and Dino Sweeting, brought their A-game, joining colleagues from other agencies in friendly competition and strengthening bonds within the law enforcement community.
The Family Fun Day was more than just games—it symbolized a shared commitment to building strong, collaborative relationships across departments as we work together for a safer Bahamas. Events like this highlight the importance of unity, wellness, and teamwork in our demanding profession.
We extend heartfelt congratulations to the BDOCS on their milestone anniversary and thank them for including us in such a memorable celebration.
