Department participated in the National Public Service Week Career Fair
This year’s National Public Service Week was highlighted by an exciting Careers Day Fair, held at the Kendal G.L. Isaacs Gymnasium on October 29 and 30, 2024. Organized to give students and the general public a closer look at career opportunities within the public sector, the event provided valuable insight into diverse professions and pathways.
The Public Relations Unit (PRU) was on-site, offering information to curious students and attendees. The booth showcased a well-curated display, reflecting the team’s hard work and dedication. Hon. Pia Glover-Rolle, Minister of Labour and Public Service commended the PRU on their impressive setup and remarked on the professionalism and effort evident in the presentation.
Special highlights included engaging K-9 and Drones Unit demonstrations, which partnered with the PRU to bring the event to life. These interactive elements added an exciting layer to the fair, capturing the attention of young people considering future careers in public service. Watch Video Here NPSW Career Fair Display
